Caring for Outdoor Cushions in High-Use Spaces

Set a simple cleaning, drying and storage routine for hotel teams.

Know the construction

Ask for the fabric, filling, cover-removal method and cleaning instructions for the actual cushion supplied. A water-repellent surface does not replace good drainage and drying.

Dry before storing

Remove loose debris and address spills promptly. After rain or washing, let cushions dry thoroughly in a ventilated position. Avoid stacking damp cushions or sealing them in an unventilated bag.

Keep replacement records

Track cushion sizes, fabric codes and attachments by furniture model. Ask about spare covers or cushions before a large order so worn pieces can be replaced consistently.
